With constraints on cross-border travel, people and patients have started receiving treatments in their own countries. The virtual mode has become very popular.
Labaid Cancer Hospital has also been affected by these changes, and has taken great care to follow Covid protocols while serving each and every patient.’
Dr. Shamim says, it is important to treat every cancer patient this year with the maximum efforts of the whole society of health. He adds, ‘The topic of World Cancer Day this year is "Close the Care Gap," which refers to the idea that all cancer patients should have access to comprehensive cancer care for better treatment and quality of life.
In order to provide better care, achieve better results, and gain the patients' trust, our oncology specialists collaborate closely with them. To ensure that every patient in Bangladesh has access to current technology and treatment facilities, we as healthcare professionals need to take more initiative.
